What effects does vaping have on your body?

Inhaling vapor produced by an electronic cigarette (e-cigarette) or other vaping device is known as vaping.

E-cigarettes are smoking devices that run on batteries. They use cartridges that are filled with a liquid that typically contains nicotine, flavorings, and chemicals. The liquid is heated into a vapor, which the individual inhales. That is why using e-cigarettes is referred to as “vaping.”

How it affects you?

We don’t know how vaping affects the body over time because it hasn’t been around long enough. However, health experts are reporting serious lung damage in vapers, including some deaths.

What does it do?

Nicotine is introduced into the body through vaping. Nicotine is highly addictive and has the following effects:

  • Teen brain development is slowed, and memory, concentration, learning, self-control, attention, and mood are all affected.
  • Increase the likelihood of developing other types of addiction later in life
